Jesse & Sarah's Mountain View Ceremony and Barn Reception in Brookfield, New Hampshire
Marrying the love of your life and adventure buddy with mountains and mooing in the background, what could be better? Jesse and Sarah were married this fall at Tumbledown Farm in Brookfield, NH with all their friends and family there to celebrate with them and they each had their brother’s stand up beside them as they said their “I do’s.”
Sarah and Jesse chose to do a first look so that we could capture all the formals before the ceremony and they could enjoy their cocktail hour. These two are so fun and easy going and I think the photos reflect that. They could not stop making each other laugh, they practiced their kiss for the ceremony, and we even had some photo bombing cows! The field of cows was also a great backdrop for the family portraits and the light came out just in time and was gorgeous!
Guest arrived and then hopped on a tractor to be taken to the ceremony location which had a gorgeous view of the mountains with all the fall colors. There was beer and wine for guests to enjoy at during the ceremony. Yeah, I’d say Jesse and Sarah are pretty cool. After all the guests were transported, the bride, her father, mother and brother were the last to arrive. Sarah’s brother and mother walked down the aisle and then her father walked her down. Jesse was just as excited to see her this time around as he was for their first look. Sarah’s mother had the most hilarious reaction when she realized Sarah was not carrying the bouquet that she had made for her. Two of Sarah and Jesse’s best friends officiated the ceremony and it was both sweet and funny. I think the highlight, though, was the interrupting cows that kept mooing, It made for a very memorable ceremony. After the ceremony, we snapped a couple more family photos, staff showed up right away with pork sliders, and then guest hopped back on the tractor and Sarah and Jesse drove off in a Mule.
For cocktail hour, there was a lot of appetizers, lawn games, and beverages that guests enjoyed in their very own tumbledown farms tumblers. After the hour, everyone headed inside the barn where salads were waiting. Every table had a photo of Jesse and Sarah’s pup, Cora, which was the cutest little touch, I thought. Sarah and Jesse went right into their first dance, and not long into it, they invited all the couples to join them. A delicious dinner was served and then dancing kicked off! Later, there was a brownie sundae bar and apple cider donuts. Which, let’s be honest, is WAY better than cake.
I am so excited for this adventure seeking couple to start a new adventure as husband and wife.
