Kevin & Allie // Winter Wedding at 1620 Winery in Plymouth, MA
Kevin & Allie
It feels like forever ago when Allie and I met to discuss her winter wedding. I remember her telling me about the awesome new venue they discovered. It was still under construction when they viewed it, but the owner welcome Allie and her mom into the tasting room to try their wine and after that Allie couldn’t say no! All kidding aside though, 1620 winery was gorgeous with their high ceilings, brick walls, stunning sliding barn doors, and that statement chandelier made of vines from every winery in Napa is incredible! Such a statement piece. There are lots of cool walls outside, that made for beautiful backdrops and the wine barrel room inside made for a really cool photo too! And, I just have to take a moment to brag about the staff at 1620 winery. They were so welcoming and showed Sarah and I around right away, they worked fast to flip the ceremony into the reception, they had vendor meals ready for us right away which was awesome because then we didn’t miss the first dance or speeches. Seriously, I highly recommend this venue. They are booking up crazy fast, and it’s no wonder why! Great pick Kevin and Allie!
I have been so excited for this wedding ever since their beach engagement session when they popped champagne and Kevin could not stop making Allie laugh. There was a lot of love and laughter on their wedding day too, even despite how cold it was. I’m so thankful they were willing to brave the wind and flurries, because we were able to get so many really stunning photos in the short amount of time we were outside. This was probably the fastest I’ve even photographed the bride and groom, entire wedding party, and family formals!
It’s hard to pick a favorite part of the day. The details were on point, the wedding party were both sweet and hilarious, the dancing was top notch, the live band was great, but I think what was super special is that Allie’s uncle officiated the ceremony, her twin brother played the instrumental version of “thousand years” by Christina Perri on guitar as Allie walked down the aisle and both Kevin and Allie’s siblings each shared a reading. It was a short ceremony, but super sweet!
Congratulations on this new season of life! Have a wonderful time in warm Aruba! Don’t forget to take photos ;)
Enjoy my favorite images from the day!
