Sarah & Greg's Spring Cape Cod Wedding // Wychmere Beach Club
Sarah and Greg are married!! Well, actually they’ve been married for a year now. They had planned their wedding for May 2020, had to reschedule to November and then reschedule again to almost one year after their original date. Last year, they decided to still get married in the church, with their family there to witness. With the super strict restrictions the organist couldn’t be there or else there would be too many people, so Sarah had to walk down the aisle to no music.
One year later, they were just ready to celebrate!! And that they did. It was the perfect spring day on the Cape. Leading up to the day the forecast said rain, but luckily it changed last minute and was beautiful! The guys and girls got ready in separate houses and then they had a trolley pick everyone up to head to the beautiful Wychmere Beach Club. I was obsessed with the sunroom at the girls house, it was perfect for getting ready portraits with all that natural light!! I usually tell couples that doing a first look is a great way to relieve any nerves or stress… well, getting married before your “wedding day” is even better! haha. Sarah and Greg didn’t mind getting on the trolley together and seeing each other before the ceremony because they were already married!! So, before the ceremony we got a lot of the formals taken before the ceremony so that everyone could enjoy the cocktail hour. Because Sarah and Greg already had their church ceremony, they decided to have Sarah’s brother perform a “vow renewal” of sorts, where they both proclaimed they “still do”. It was super sweet and super beautiful on the roof deck overlooking the water. I am so happy for the new Mr. & Mrs. O’Brien! They had such a fun and gorgeous celebration. All their friends and family were just so happy that these two finally got to have their dream day.
Sarah and Greg, I am so happy for you two! You have gotten through so much together. Grad school, a pandemic, planning and then re-planning a wedding and now one year of marriage! You should be so proud. Thank you so much for choosing Allan and I as your photographer and videographer! It was truly an honor.
