Tanya & Kyle's "Alice in Wonderland" Wedding at Timber Hill Farm // Gilford, NH

When Sarah and I arrived, it definitely felt like we fell through a rabbit hole into a fairytale land. And that’s exactly what Kyle and Tanya’s hopes were for their wedding. They did a wonderful job of creating an elegant and whimsical “Alice in Wonderland” garden tea party wedding day!

Tanya wore the most perfect Tea-length wedding gown covered in lace, with a matching veil, which she then swapped out before the reception for a peacock feather. Both her and Kyle had pocket watches to tie in with the theme. Bridesmaids wore light blue dresses and groomsmen wore light blue bow ties with leather suspenders.

They had a short ceremony, officiated by a friend of the bride and groom. Overlooking the mountains, Tanya and Kyle exchanged vows and rings under a beautiful arbor covered in flowers, with rabbits at the bottom. The ring bearer really stole the show, though, with his Mad Hatter hat that was almost as big as he was. He was adorable!

The custom made tables at the reception (made with wood from Timber Hill Farm) were so tastefully decorated with vintage tea pots and cups, books, clocks, old keys, and stunning blue, purple, pink and white flowers, with lots of greenery and moss, too. The table numbers were Alice in Wonderland cards. And favors were cookies that read “eat me, I make you taller” and mini bottles of alcohol with tags that said “Drink me, I make you smaller”. Sarah and I seriously could have photographed the decorations all day. Yard games, beautiful views, a fire pit… and if all of this wasn’t enough, they had Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar for dessert!

I had been looking forward to Kyle and Tanya’s wedding ever since Tanya told me about their plans to bring the Alice in Wonderland book to life, and it seriously went far beyond my expectations! Thank you, Tanya and Kyle, for allowing me to be part of your super fun celebration! Hats off to you guys for making it happen just the way you envisioned. I still can’t get over how perfect everything was!
