Have you ever spent time with two people and felt happy just being around them? That’s how it felt being around Tasia and Josh. I don’t know if it’s the way they interact with each other so lovingly or if it’s because they are genuinely sweet people; probably both. All I know is that I am so freaking happy that they reached out and asked if I was available for their October wedding and that I was. I was booked every weekend except for their date. Tasia said it must have been meant to be and that things just keep falling into place as far as their wedding planning. In the very short time I’ve known Tasia, I already feel like we are great friends! We met for coffee and talked for hours, not just about wedding stuff, but about our cats and how our men apparently don’t know what a dirty laundry hamper is. Despite that though, the way Tasia talked about Josh was so endearing. Her face truly lit up when she talked about him. It was as if they just started dating, except they have been together for 7 years! Love like that gives me all the feels. After that, I could not wait to meet this man that made her light up. A few weeks later, I had the opportunity, and he was the Prince Tasia had described. Not even 5 minutes into taking photos, Josh was pulling Tasia in close, kissing her and being the sweetest. #couplegoals I actually had to say “Wait, I’m not ready. Stop being so cute already!” Before I arrived, I was excited for their engagement session – I already knew that Tasia was amazing + she told me how sweet Josh was. plus, I got to visit my favorite city, Portland, and the location they choose was gorgeous. It’s also where Josh proposed! After seeing them interact I was even more excited! So, thank you Tasia and Josh, for being so adorable and making my job so easy. I honestly cannot wait to photograph you two again in October and celebrate your marriage!
