Our Greatest Christmas Gift: Baby #3 Is on the Way

On Christmas Eve, we found out that our family of four will soon be a family of five. Truly the greatest gift we could have received.

There’s something so special about finding out you’re expecting during the holidays. Everything already feels magical and full of anticipation, and then suddenly your heart expands in a way you didn’t even know was possible. In the middle of the twinkle lights, wrapping paper, and quiet moments before Christmas morning, we were holding onto the sweetest secret - our third baby is on the way.

We are beyond excited. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. This little one is already so loved.

One of the things that makes this season even sweeter is knowing what a wonderful big sister Nora will be. We can already see it in how she plays with her baby dolls and how she obsesses over and lights up at every baby she meets. We are so excited for her to be “promoted.” Jude has been teaching her well, showing her the ropes, modeling patience (most of the time 😉), and proving that being a big sibling is a pretty special job. Together, they are already the best team, and we can only imagine how much love this next baby will be surrounded with.

Our hearts feel incredibly full. To have healthy children, to grow our family again, to experience this chapter, it’s something we never take for granted. Finding out on Christmas Eve felt like the most intentional, beautiful timing. Exactly what we wanted for Christmas.

As we look ahead to becoming a family of five, we are filled with anticipation. More noise. More snuggles. More chaos. More love. And somehow, more room in our hearts.
