Melissa & Brandon’s Elegant Summer wedding in the mountains | Thornton, NH

I first met Melissa and Brandon at Melissa’s brother’s wedding two years prior. So when Melissa reached out I was super excited and honored! It’s always awesome to see families I’ve worked with again.

Their wedding was in August (a great month to get married, speaking from experience ;)) in the white mountains at Owl’s Nest Resort in Thornton, NH. And I have to say, this is one of my new favorite venues. The views are incredible, the resort itself is beautiful, and the staff is excellent! Here is an example of how excellent they are, The day before Melissa and Brandon’s wedding there was a huge windstorm that took out the tent where their reception was supposed to be held. The team at Owl’s Nest acted quickly to source a new tent and set it up in time for their wedding!

This wedding was one of my favorites for so many reasons, I am obsessed with the florals by White Birch Floral. Jessica always does an incredible job! And this color combination is my absolute favorite! The timeline was so good - we had plenty of time to capture the gorgeous details a the beginning of the day and portraits after their first look + again later at sunset, Melissa and Brandon were able to enjoy their whole cocktail hour, the weather was amazing and the company was even greater!
